    LOL about the jeep!!!

That is as bad as the guy with the NEW Honda Foreman ES that stuck it not far from where these pics were taken, I'll just say that at one time they had a 4-wheeler, truck, tractor, and a trac hoe stuck trying to get him out. 2 skidders did the job, but the foreman left in 2 different pickups, and the guy still had to pay the note! Some BAD gumbo in spots!

The lake is purposely drawn down each winter like this for spring-rains-flood- control reasons. That water is one of the many, many sloughs scattered about in the lake bottom. As far as getting to this boat, you could get within about 500 yds. of it on a 4-wheeler (and that was tricky), then it's pretty much wading the gumbo in between (and through some) of the sloughs. The arrow on this pic shows (about) where it's at......it's on out there!!! Sorry for the big picture, guys...

Maybe that long pole had something to do with the boat sinking? No wonder Grenada has so many big slabs. Looks like you could fish every stump you could hit in a day, and still miss about, oh, 10,000 stumps. Lots of cover there!!
