Good idea!
I have not been since last Friday, but I did catch 22 that morning on submerged brush tops in about 3-4 ft of water.
A report on what the fish are doing on Grenada would be nice! Are they dropping eggs yet?
i understand everyone's opinions on out of staters, limits, sizes, etc. i feel that the lack of water has spurred everyone's emotions about this too( which is another beat down subject). everyone is packed into small areas which is compunding the situation. i bet that if there was more water, these rants would not be as bad
this is a great crappie fishing site but here lately no one is even talking about the actual fishing itself. at least in this thread can we talk about some fishing?
no one has to tell WHERE, just what they have been doing.
by the way.....fished some corp lake backwaters today, didnt do too well.fish have pretty much finished up there and starting to scatter

I went to Arkabutla yesterday. Fished for 3 hrs & only had 3 hits. Way too windy.
I usually fish at Enid. Spent all of last week down there, and did fair even after the water has rose 3 feet.
Has anyone fished Enid since last Friday?
I hear they are catching a few at the Tunica Cutoff.
i fished enid yesterday at wildcat brake. think i caught 6 in the wind. fish were really scattered and starting to move out. that water in there has really warmed up
I caught 7 decent fish late yesterday in Clear Creek after the wind calmed down a little. They were in 6' of water exactly the same spot as before the water came up. I think they never moved and spawned right there.
I have been walking the creek banks with decent results, but that seems to be over, too. You have to do this real early, if a boat comes up into the creek where the water is in the banks, you can kiss the bite goodby.
Well...... here in Missouri the crappie are right up on the bank......
I mean right on the bank. a long poll and a jig, just run around the bank and pull them out of the moss. They are so close to the bank that I caught a crappie the other day that had a tick on it.....Now that's up close to the bank........just kidding. Any way our bite is finally on here. You all be good.
Remember...you catch you clean them...... The dog
Went to Billys this AM on 4 wheeler. Caught three real quick then someone cut off the switch and they quit cold turkey. Not another bite......

I been there fishin4fun. It's almost bad luck to catch one right off the bat for me.
Caught 19 Tuesday at Hurricane Landing right out from the boat ramp went back yesterday caught 2 early moved around tried a few sloughs with no luck went to Buzzard Roost caught 13. The ones I was lucky to catch was caught on single stumps out from around the crowds. I think alot people pass these up and thats good for me. I think the crowds have started to dwindle down and I am sure glad to see that.
Spawner
I went to Billys monday AM Caught 6 whay have moved back out in 6 to 9 feet of water is what I have been told.Hit R,berry this AM got one.Spawn is over.Might be just a few that have not spawn or there is just no fish left to move up over night.Originally Posted by fishin4fun
