Well according to "The Fishing Machine"... you only need the scent until you catch 3 or 4 fish. After that the scent of the fish replaces the nibble scent.

I keep a jar in the boat to give whomever I'm fishing with and when they aren't lookin' I spray my jigs with slab-sauce.

I like nibbles for hand ties and then Slab sauce or G sauce for everything else. Reason is the Slab sauce can stick to your hand ties and mess them up if not washed off good. I have some jigs that the feathers are messed up now because of this. I do know there is a Slab sauce nibble that Slab has up his sleeve. Hopefully this can start being produced.

I smash them in the lid. then I smoosh off a bit on tip of my finger and squish it behind the jig head. you don't need much and that seem to be the best place to smear it and have it stay. I smash it under my crank bait lips also. doing this will make a jar last all season long. this year I been using yum spray on shad scent. I have always loved the yum scented twisters or power grubs too. also spray shad scent in the bag when I get it.

I wipe my jig over the side of the crappie I just caught. get tha slime all over the jig and line. they seem to like that a lot. I unhooked and pulled an eye today and left it on the jig. they didn't turn nose up at that either.

After a good day of spider riggin and getting into a mess of fish, I like the way the nibbles look all scattered around my front 2 seats and mashed into the carpet. Almost like my brothers kids spilled skittles. Looks like a rainbow exploded.
