Speaking of these tables, I have found that different tables show different major and minor times.? How does that work? And yes, I am keying in the info for my area to get a report. I’m gonna fish when I can, but how can the solunar and lunar be different (it can’t) and is this the chart producer’s opinion of the best times?

if the cows are standing I pitch my jig , if the cows are sleeping I pitch my jig , if the cows are eating I pitch my jig , if the cows are calving I pitch my jig , if the cows are not in the pasture …..I still pitch my jig
if the moon is big I pitch my jig and if the moon is small I pitch my jig and if the barometer is high I pitch my jig and if the barometer is low I pitch my jig …..
my wife says I tell her they are biting no mater what the conditions are ….I used to try and use different scenarios in the weather and such to persuade her to say yes ….then one day she realized what I always knew …..they are always biting

I go when I can ---- just being outdoors on the water is a good trip for me ---- catching fish is a bonus.

Fresh water, not so much. There are too many other factors involved. I go every chance I get. Rather be on the water even if they aren't biteing. it's my zen..I grew up in salt water and the tides driven by moon phase heavily effect movement of bait fish then predators . In fresh water if anything may do the same on a small scale. It could lure fish into more shallow water at times. Just a untested thought.

A few years ago, I was doing the same thing you are looking at. I was serious about it. Trying to understand the effects of
highs and lows on the swim bladder and depth the fish would migrate to on highs and lows. I spent a lot of hours on it and
in the end, I caught fish where they weren't supposed to be and struck out fishing where they should have been. There's
probably something to it but I am unconcerned about.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Guy I hate to tell you this, but crappies can't read so they don't know what the books say they should be doing. They get hungry and they eat. I often eat between feeding times and there fore have a post spawn belly. Don
I don't mind sharing where I caught my fish.
Most was caught in their mouth.

    D Johnson,

I also eat when I feel the need, only I eat once a day....all day. Sometimes half the night too....
