Tried both in the last couple years. The nylon was terrible on my jigs. Kept getting them caught in the net so i ordered a rubber. A little heavy and somehow the bucket in the bottom tore. Might have been from a big cat i caught while crappie fishing. Cant repair it so i'm looking for something new this year.

You can replace the net only. Knock the pin out with a punch pull up on net frame thread new net on. adventure products will sell a replacement net.
