Your partner is the best fish massager in the business. You always said he couldn't catchum but he sure could keep them alive. I think the fish need to be alive whether its August or December.

We do need to get the rules set, maybe not in stone , but get it to where they are in place before the tourneys start, so that everyone knows before they pay their entry fee. Then decide on when (which month) to start having the tourneys. Then pick the lakes and dates. Still have to elect a weighmaster for the events.

For me, the rules look good so far. Far as starting, whenever. lakes and date, whichever.

yep there is way more work being put into this than need to be..post, post and post some more is only causing more posts. one meeting would take care of all of this at one time.

Guys, there is already a club in existance in the west end of the state. The Twin Lakes Crappie Club. They just fish Ky Barkley but thats not to say they wouldnt fish else where. I know a number of these guys and they all fish other tourneys, CUSA and Crappie Master.
I fished a few of them for fun and had a good time. But i can tell you, some of these guys are the best in the business. Until you get them off there home lake and they are lost as a goose. So some of them do not travel to fish for whatever reason. And some of you guys are more comfortable on your home lake. I have fished quite a few tourneys all over the south and find it a challenge to go to water i have never seen. But what makes it more satisfying is when you have done your homework, study a map, read between the lines of crappie.com and go there and start catching fish within about thirty minutes. My son and i have done that a number of times. Talk about a confidence builder.
Anyway, maybe you guys can get this thing off the ground. Sounds to me like you are headed in the right direction. i will keep my eye on this thread and maybe see you guys down the road.
