I know what they're doing, they're swimming!! sorry couldn't resist!
Anyone know what crappie & shellcracker are doing on Kentucky Lake right now and how the big COLD rain they had yesterday will affect them? Will crappie move into the banks, stay where they are, or suspend?
Any suggestions about where to find shellcracker and the big bluegill? We are on the full moon and usually the biggest ones come in early and I hate to have to wait until next weekend to go.
As always, I appreciate the good advice and help I get on this site. Thanks!

Crappie are shallow, up on the banks right now. Just had a friend return this past weekend and did really well on the crappie. Not sure about the redears.
The lake is several feet above summer pool right now and covered with trash from the banks. I looked in several of my key redear and bluegill spots Sunday afternoon and never got a bump. Tried some really shallow stuff with the same results. Most of the areas I fished had water temps barely above 60.

We had 40 today, but they weren't anywhere near the bank and didn't appear to be post spawn. Water temp was 59.5 at daylight, was near 65 before we left. Tried bluegill and redear for an hour, never got a bite.
Thanks so much for the report, mrdux!!
