    Default clinton docks

I've been fishing the docks at Clinton lately and having some success but one thing that has been surprising is how many black-nosed crappie are being caught. Of 20 black crappie caught more than half were black-nose....I've seen a couple caught at Hillsdale but I had never caught one myself.....I know Craig has said the black-nose is not a cross between a black and white crappie but a defect in the gene but then I also heard they can be raised and are good to put in ponds and small bodies of water because they don't over populate....don't know if this is true but there's a big population of em at Clinton. FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

I see a couple black crappie in the pile, seemed to me all the blacks I caught over last couple years were small , glad to see them getting up to size. Nice catch Doug, hope they will still be there when I am able.

Never have caught a black out of Clinton, they must hang around the docks the majority of the time. Even when Ice fishing in the cove off the marina still haven't.

I only catch the blacks when fishing the breaks or winter fishing. Dont recall even catching them in the spring or summer
