nice fishes glad to see the ole guy out
Well I guess "Dinksdale" still holds some bigger crappie...Lee and I dipped trees in the littlebull and he pulled in a 15 and a 14 incher, I also caught a 13er and of course our share of short fish. We fished trees along the channel edge (15 fow) but also caught fish in trees away from the channel edge in 9-11 fow, we also caught a few in an isolated tree line. The hot bait was a 1/8oz. "kiptail" silver/black hair jig......(these can be bought at the BP station in Hillsdale) tipped wth a minnow....still a pretty slow day and you had to work for em but a nice one temperature wise

I'm sure there are fish to be caught all over the lake but for me the bigger ones are hangin on trees on the edge of and a little distance from the channel.....if I knew where more brushpiles were I'd be tryin them too.... HD is still a bugaboo for me.....haven't unlocked it's secrets YET!
