We fished trees along the channel edge (15 fow) but also caught fish in trees away from the channel edge in 9-11 fow, we also caught a few in an isolated tree line. The hot bait was a 1/8oz. "kiptail" silver/black hair jig......(these can be bought at the BP station in Hillsdale) tipped wth a minnow....still a pretty slow day and you had to work for em but a nice one temperature wise
