And honestly, I don't know why you would post this on the state fishing board and not the off topic forum. Most people get on the state boards to talk fishing, not politics.

That email was sent by a GOP/Independent party/Tea party member trying to influence the way you vote! Nothing more! They could care less if it is factual . Most voters are to stupid to lookup Congress' voting record.

Replace congress? Now that is an idea! Kinda funny how an honest guy with his heart on his sleeve steps into politics at the local level. The local public loves him. He is so beloved that he throws his hat into the ring at the state level. And people love him. He is a rising star...........he then runs for US Congress.........he has a heckuva following and support and wins a Congressional seat.................he gets to Washington and all of the sudden he gets Alzheimers...........he has forgotten his morals, his beliefs, and most importantly what even got him there in the first place..............why is that? And gentlemen that happens on both sides of the party fence.

The main answer to that Rico is money that starts coming their way. They make so much money on the "side" if you will, perks and fringe benefits gets in their way of doing things the right way. All of a sudden, that popular figure that we sent to Washington is corrupted to the core by power and money.

Politics is a dirty business, why someone would aspire to become a politician is hard to understand...until you realize the perks that go with the job.

AMEN- Back to fishing. I will be in Indiana tomorrow at McCormick Creek State Park and wonder if anyone can point to a good crappie spot for fishing from shore with my niece's young kids.
