    Default Heavy Lead Bars

Does anyone know where to get heavy lead bars at?....I checked my local recylce/scrap metal place....But, they was out of them...I am going to call Cash's and one other place in St.Louis...I hope one of those two have the lead bars...I need around 300-400lbs in lead bars...Using the lead bars to put a little more weight into my panfish tracker boat..

Jerermy, what about shotgun lead shot. I know thay sell it by the bag. It might be easier and more "moldable" to get it to fit under the floor. Just a thought.

Make a jig and melt your own. I do it with my fish fryer.

If you have any friends/connections with your local water dept give them a try. We perform water work for the City of Topeka and get all we need from the old parts of town where they used lead pipe/connectors/packing on many water services back in the day.

Jeremy check any printing shop. The old printing machines used lead bars to operate the printing machine. Ther is a printer in Highland IL that had tons of lead in the back of their shop. Dont know the statice of the lead, but there is a lot of it thats been setting around for years.
