Do you have a good recipe for doing whole hog? Had a friend give us some wild hog when we got down here in 1996 and he said fix it like any other hog meat. Couldn't eat what we fixed the he said he forgot us Yankee's hain't never ett hog like dis afore. Then he laughed and said you have to boil it for a good while to get the salt out of it then fry it in lots of seasoning to your liking. Sure glad he didn't give us very much. I do like the simple recipe I seen on the TV last week on the outdoor chef and wished I had some to try. My hog hunting friend has passed on so that won't happen.
Looks like you are thinning your problem down though. Hope you are catching fish too. Got down again so the fishing isn't happening for us yet. Ferdi

We have been invited to a pig feast where the pigs will be cooked in the ground, covered with pineapple and spices Hawaiian style. Will let you know. I just do not look
all that good in grass skirts. LOL We field dressed them today and they were fat little porkers. A friend wanted them to fix.

PLEASE, if you take pictures at the cook out leave the pictures of the grass skirt in Louisianan , they definitely need to stay there. Enjoy the roast and I hope it all is good eating. Ferdi

Looking out of that blind I think you need an AT&T gun. You know so you can reach out and touch one.
