Look at this ebay link White Waterproof 5050 SMD 300LED 5M 60LED M Light Strip Lamp Car Flexible 12V | eBay
These are only $11 for 16.4 ft string and free shipping. The glue on them will not hold at all. I put them on a stick of PVC and used tie wraps every few inches then mounted under rail on pontoon.Name: IMG_1026.jpg

Brushpile, I found mine online. Not sure of the web site. Looks like Navigator found some cheap. Mine were the cree 50/50, which was the best led you could buy a year and a half ago. Each strip has 3700+ lumen and a 50,000 hour brightness guarantee and are also waterproof. If I remember right I paid about $45.00 a strip. I would do more research on the one Navigotor has suggested. Also find out what color white those are. Cool white is going to be the brightest. The ones I got also came in 5-6 different colors including green. Let me know what you find out.

Spiderman is correct, cool white is what I bought last year and they were $25 a string, price has dropped a lot. Shop around and read the specs, you will find what you need at a good price.
