Thread: Welcome new members

Hi all Gary from Springfield Ohio

First let me say hey to all of you, I'm really enjoying searching and reading the forum threads, I'm getting lots of info from them and will soon feel better about getting into the mix. but I am a newbie, and have tried a few times since signing up to change my member name/screen name. I have lost my password a time or two and requested and changed it, and I now know that when I find a good avatar I will be able to set it up but would someone please direct me to an instruction on how to change ones screen name or what we used to call a handle? I am a new member of your forum and look forward to talk crappie fishing. My name is Ken McBroom and I am an outdoor writer and love to crappie fish. I grew up in Tennessee fishing Kentucky lake and Barkley and there is nothing like relaxing by a brush pile catching slabs all day long and almost better than that was when we got home and had them for dinner. Fishing is my life and so many people could benefit from fishing if they only knew about it so I try to teach people how to enjoy fishing much like your forum here. Thanks for this great site where we can talk fishing with people who want to talk fishing.

I live on Lake Walter F. George, known by the Alabama folks as Lake Eufaula. I live at the mouth of Pataula Creek, which is known for some very good crappie fishing. Retired after 37 yrs. of law enforcement. Looking forward to some good fishing and hopefully gain some knowledge from some of you above average crappie fishermen.
