If i see fish--they are not biting, haven't yet hit on color, speed, depth, size, smell(add your item) combination to say i've found a pattern, but haven't changed lakes YET. While 'spider rigging had 13 poles out with two jigs or jig hook combination, buzzed around the lake from 8' to 22' for 3 hours without a bite, considered(not long) getting a set of clubs and chasing a small white ball. catch a bunch.--shu

Go for them kitty cats Shu. Lot more success prolly, and more to eat when ya do get some.
A gun in hand is a lot better than a cop on the phone.

Tried yesterday and this morning, yesterday put out the first black/chart with a 1/8 chart in front and before i got the third rod out had a 10" speck so the depth must have been right on, only speck caught but picked up 2 sunshine bass(striper hybrid). This morning caught a channel cat and another sunshine bass but no specks so am changing the trailing jigs to Ron's zip jigs(hot pink or chart) The catfish was fun so may take Dusty's advice and chase them a couple of days next week.--shu

    Hey Shuorc!

    I got these slabs Thursday.

I was trolling the blue and white Weiss Lake Killer

You need to forget about the black and chartreuse for a while... or am I going to have to come down there and take them away from you?:p

You know how to hurt a guy. Tried for catfish for a few days(skunked) printing a lot of fish but haven't caught any to know for sure what i'm over, really believe they are specks(crappie). With the heat index at 113 i'm staying in the shade and watering my orchids. catch a bunch.--shu

Get yourself a bimini top Shu, it's money well spent!

Do you have any Vanilla Bean Orchids?

Got a bimini around here somewhere, removed it about 8 years ago, may give it a try. No vanilla but have tried to get a bean out of a friends, didn't work but was interesting to attempt.--shu
