    Those of you have one.... Is it worth the money? I have a 597hd di now. And I'm looking to upgrade so in the future I can get i-link.
    Also, where's the best deal?... Thanks for info.

    I have one and love it. I'd either wait for new LED version Jan 2013 time frame or wait until near xmas and get the current version that most likely will go on sale.
    I got mine at universal mania for 1650.00 this spring.

    You may want to shoot member Brian@BBGmarine a message. They are having a huge sale on the 998 with Si right now. Just talked to him today and the unit with shipping is only $1369.00. I dont think you will ever beat that price. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!

    If that deal had been around 10 days ago I would have bought it instead of the of the 2 Humminbird 858cdi unit......thats a great price and you should jump on it
