If that's the case, I wouldn't purchase the transducer bracket (sleeve) from these same people. Their price of $33 is high ... you can get it off Amazon.com (from "Reds Gear") for $22 --- Amazon.com: Buying Choices: Lowrance Trolling Motor DSI Transducer Adapter But, I would wait until you receive your unit, and check to see which "bracket" is included.
Yes, mine came with this bracket. It "was" in the box. I just looked and it's not in there so I misplaced it somewhere. I remember it came in the box and I was surprised. I was about to buy one when I bought the unit but decided to wait. I'm glad I did as it was in the box. It comes with the transom mount also.

Barnacle Bill would you explain the procedure you use to save waypoints to the sd card?

Good to know, Bill ... thanks !!

Though I have all my waypoints/coords written down & the type of cover they represent ... I'd like to know how it can be downloaded to the sd card, too. Even at just 2GB, the card should hold quite a bit of info.

CP In the downloaded manual from pages 21 thru 27 I think shows that on the "waypoint menu" is where I see a "save to card tab" that you can click on. I think you can save waypoints, routes and trails there.

Start from the main chart page
    Press Menu
    Select Waypoints, Routes and Trails
    Press enter
    Press Menu
You now have options to load from or save to card
    (along with some other stuff)

Once you have it on the card you can load it in your computer and play with it. Like looking at your waypoints with Google Earth. I did that once but can't remember how I did it.

I've got a lake that has 200ft depths in it, and 80-100ft depths not a boat's length from shore ... but never have had to fish it deeper than 30ft. And most of the rest of the lakes I fish will have a thermocline develop @ the 15-20ft depth, in the heat of Summer. So I just keep the range set at 40ft & pay no attention to the bottom disappearing ... my baits are not going to be any deeper than ~20ft, anyway. I'm looking for the tops of cover sticking above the thermocline layer, or bait balls or schools of fish to come on screen .... regardless of bottom depth.

Even in 30ft of water ... the sonar beam is ~25ft wide on 800kHz .... and ~45ft wide on 455kHz

In the "more likely" category of the small lake "wackyman" is fishing, he'll probably be finding fish around the 15-20ft depth range. The sonar beam would be over 16ft wide at 800kHz & over 30ft wide at 455kHz ... in just 20ft depths. He shouldn't have any trouble getting images like this:

Hey CP, Wondering if you could do me a favor and take a snapshot of your settings sometime and post it or send it to me? Still trying to mine set to be able to see something like that pic on this post. I tried setting other fellers have posted and no luck.. I just wonder if there is something wrong my fish finder.. I see the fish I just don't get the structure like everyone else talks about .. Fishing in Truman there should be lots of structure, more trees in the water than out of the water ...Need someone close to be able to hook it up and try it to see what they get out of it.

Yes, they come with both now.. at least mine did. I had already ordered a tm bracket through Walmart before the unit showed up and returned it for a refund once I found out that I didn't need it.

Anybody know exactly what has to be done to load waypoints to the unit off of an SD card? Just put the raw data on a card and then use the upload from card option in the menu?

It has to be a .usr file to do it that way.
