I did send a email. You never said anything about a oil problem.

I don't know I'm asking you as I've never done it the way you are. I heat then stir or swirl and repeat until I get to proper temperature. If there are bubbles I let rest with something covering the pyrex glass so that the plastic doesn't cool as fast. The bubbles will rise to the top and I take a torch and run it across the plastic to pop bubbles. Sometimes I need to work the plastic again until bubbles are gone. I would imagine if you don't somehow stir the plastic in-between heats there will be pockets in the plastic hotter than others which might lead to browning in some spots.

lots of practice it took me a couple years before I even started to do plastics like you're doing I don't do them very often because they are so time-consuming.

I have been using the regular bait junkies and have to just rest it a little to rid of the bubbles. For a 8 oz batch I heat for 2.5 min, stir, then 20 second burst till where I want it. It is a good plastic with only down fall for me is the smell. The essential has no smell when cooking according to my family. They can tell the difference lol. I bought 5 gallons of the bj and no issues. I does cook slightly different than the essential IMO. Does really well on reheats also.
