Yep, with the dying vegetation starting to surface, seems like the Dog Days have already started in the clear water spring fed lakes in my area,.
With the abundance of schooling minnows I have tried simple colors to replicate them, and having success with these colors.

Nice stuff b. Whose mold is that on the bottom left corner ? That looks like a nice little bait right there.
2XL
The lower Lft & upper Rt. are shot using the same Basstackle 641 Stinger. 2" mold.
That particular color and bait is the one giving me the better bite
I’m using a No# 4 Keel Hook using a 64oz bullet split shot sinker in front of the hook which gives me the best subtle action that I was looking for.

Nice job
Thank you for the recipe. Good work.

May God be with you. Keep CALM and STAY ANCHORED with your faith.
Those would work for me if I made them as a walleye bait for cold water, but crappies up here wouldn't look at the combination. The differences between geographic areas and color choices is sometimes absolutely a puzzle.
Nice baits
Thanks for your Input Everyone

I agree on the geographic color differences, as the Spring lakes in my area that I fish have a lot less bite on sparkle, glitter bait, where the drab, pale color do the best.
On the other hand where I fish the cloudy Fox Chain Lakes it's just the opposite result on bites.
Go Figure
The Older Keel Hooks design along with a 1/64th or 1/32nd oz split bullet nose really made a hook set difference using these baits.
