Thread: Dog Days Clear Water Bait that are working for me

Yep, with the dying vegetation starting to surface, seems like the Dog Days have already started in the clear water spring fed lakes in my area,.
With the abundance of schooling minnows I have tried simple colors to replicate them, and having success with these colors.

All using 4oz of Essential Plastisol (colors may vary but should come close
As I was also using some remelts)

Coffee Top:
(1) Teaspoon of fine grind coffee along with:
(2) to (4) drops of Brown

Belly:
(3) drops Silver or Silver Pearl
(2) drops White

Black top:
(4) drops Black
(2) drops Silver Pearl
