Thread: not your average tube (NYAT)

Thanks everyone, these are hollow tubes but I could do them either way.

is that a mold where you have to cut the tails or are they pre cut? I had one where I had to cut the tails. It was too much work so I got rid of it. I thought about buying one from del, but he never sent me a sample of the bait to decide if I wanted to buy it or not. Do you own any of his molds?

it has cut tails but its not Dels. I wouldnt buy a mold from him if they were 5 bucks. He tells you what you want to hear. I waited 9 months for a mold and was told EVERY 2 weeks that it was on the machine. I know guys still waiting on molds they paid for during his last Thanksgiving sale. I had a couple of his molds but got rid of them cause I didnt think I could get anymore if I needed them. If I cant buy more later I wont get them, if I get a really big order and need more molds I cant wait months for one, days and weeks I can do but months?

I have not bought from him because I have only heard negative things and he always gives me the run around. I will not say anything bad about him or his molds, because I do not own any. I will just say from what I have heard I do not like the experiences and will not be buying from him. I am sure he is a good guy and means well, but I will look elsewhere when buying. With that said, do you know who sells a good tube jig mold? One that is 1.75 or two inches.

Have any in solid black with eyes?

you know who I depend on most the time I've had no problems with Rick if you're wanting a good to mold I suggested US Rick to build you one you might have to twist his leg a little bit but he is the only one that I know of that can make which you want and you do not have to wait months that's why Jacob baits is always done good for me we exclusively use Rick for all my custom work I'm sure the other mold makers are quite good at what they do but I do not care for any of their molds that's why we always use Rick.

I was thinking Rick was not going to make any of the small tube molds anymore. I did not see any small crappie tube molds on his site. Do you have a 2 inch tube mold of his snake? If so if you have any samples from it can you send me one and a sample of the chicken foot and the slab slayer. I need a good 1.75 or 2 inch tube mold.

I have three different sizes 11/2"in 2 inch and 3 inch I also have another one it looks similar to a octopus but I have not purchased it very much it is a awesome looking bait I don't think I sent you any of them but I'm going to have to make some of them up I truly love them that was a very very special deal with Rick Berger had to break his arm and his two legs and give him a black eye to make it Rofl
