Default Plastic minnows with prosthetic brass eyes idea

These are plastic minnows with prosthetic brass hourglass eyes. I was playing around with some plastic minnows I got from Snake River and was trying to make them more realistic. I took brass hourglass eyes, the kind I make Clouser Minnows with, andpainted a black pupil on the gold brass.

Take a hot thin needle and insert it through the plastic minnow. Wiggle the prosthetic eye through the opening.

    They look really good!

this may be a dumb question, but how are you going to rig them? can you take a photo? I'm new to this lake fishing game, and still learning the basics...

Thanks Ship! I was thinking that maybe you would run a long-shank hook thru the body with the hook point coming out of the minnow's back, sort of like a Clouser is tied with the duimbbell on the top of the shank so the hook rides point up...it did not even occur to me to rig it like a live minnow... many thanks for the answer!
