tried to take a bite out of the computer screen. got to try this one
We tried this a few nights ago with some sheepshead fillets. It turned out pretty good, but needed a little more seasoning for this southern boys taste buds. I think next time I will add some salt or tony's and some pepper. Thanks for sharing!

Forgot to mention that when I tried this, I couldn't fit all of the fillets in the pan. So I cooked a couple of them in a skillet with melted butter. My girlfriend like them the best. Tried it with speckled trout last week and added garlic powder and tony's. Turned out mighty fine!
OMG I just made this and it is better than expected! All I can say is wow you have to try this.

Had it again this eve after a few beers and man its killer
Well i don't believe it. I cooked the fish the way Monty did.. I had 6 filets in the dish. when it was done i put cheese on half and put it back in long enough to melt.. I also fry the rest and out of those i soak four filet in tiger sause.. Well there 6 of us in this house and the bake fish was a hit except one. (Wife) bake fish was gone before i could get back to it...As for the tiger sause i will do a hole batch with it..
This is hands down a great tasting way to eat crappie. I also had one filet of Parmesan Cheese that wouldn't fit in the dish-- so i fryed it and man o man thats good too...
Made this the other night with walleye fillets. Not crappie but... OH MY GARSH! Love that crunch and the parmesan lingering taste.
Great recipe. We just happened to have all of the ingredients in the cabinets. It was a nice change from fried crappie. I could see us eating crappie this way quite a bit now. Thanks for posting it.
Tried this last week but used crushed up ritz crackers instead of bread crumbs and olive oil. Also put some veggies in the pan with it and cooked up some grits. My wife and I loved it!
Time to buy a wedge of parmesan cheese for the grater. Sounds really good.
