What does Wacky Rigged mean? I don't do a lot of bass fishing so forgive me..but please explain!

Wacky rigged varies in different locations....most use it with a hook pushed thru the center of a plastic lizard or worm and worked without a weight at the depth your sonar shows the fish, sometimes on the bottom, but you'll need to leave the point of the hook inside the plastic on bottom to reduce the chance of hanging up. Work it slow.

My Favorite... Heddon Chugger Jr. in Black Shore pattern:

Nothing beats an explosive topwater hit for exciting fishing. The conditions have to be right (calm), so it's not my #1 pick for everyday fishing.

My #1 go-to lure is a simple jig with a bent-pin spinner and a 3" powerbait curlytail grub:

It catches pretty much any species including, crappie, perch, bass, pickerel, trout, pike, and bluegill. it can be presented a ton of different ways and is by far the most productive and versatile lure I own.

For Numbers a Zoom Super Fluke in White Pearl teamed with 3/0 EWG Gamakatsu Hook, For Big Bass a big ole Lunker Lure Buzzbait in White or Yellow or a Black/Silver F11 or F13 Rapala Floating Minnow.

My largest one came off of a piece of chicken liver. Snagged him in the back of the head with it. That was a one time only deal though.
