I went out this morning . Did not start real early . Ran the heater on the way and air conditioner on way home . Kept a limit for a friend and released several more . Caught in over 20' of water . Same tackle I always use Huckabee Phantom rod , Timmy Tom jig heads and Purple/chartreuse Umbrella tubes. Bit just fine when you could stop it on their nose in the wind.

Later the day = better the bite has been trend all spring for me. Bad news is I’m a morning person.

I was thinking of you yesterday when I saw livescopers out in open water and most of us hitting brushpiles and lay downs lol
