Nimrod,,,what Garmin setup do you have? I have heard so many good things about the new Livescope,,,which finder did you pair it with?

Many guys opt for cheapest version with a 9'' screen . Some Use 10 or 12'' units but come in several versions . Lots buy the 1222 which is mainly a chart plotter I think . I have the 1242xsv which has a transducer and does it all (Side and Down imaging as well as traditional sonar with all the mapping too ). 12'' screen easier for old guys to see . I bought higher end unit because if I do change or was to not use live scope it does it all . But this live scope is the bomb for sure . What ever you buy just make sure it is live scope compatiable .
