The other day my granddaughter and I were talking to another fishermen and were at least 75ft from him when suddenly a bass boat split us at a high rate of speed, they laughed as they passed which made them even look more like fool's. Our boat and the other was rocking and rolling and we water come into our boat, My granddaughter was very shaken by this and couldn't understand why they done such a unacceptable move. This bass fisherman had his boat all done up with the fancy wrap ( won't call him out on here) I don't know why he acted like this and I know he's not the only one that does so but guys be courteous to others. This idiot could have caused a bad deal and also has my granddaughter not wanting to get back in the boat. Ty for listing.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.
Bullet 21xrd Merc 250 Pro xs. "If you think I won"t, Believe me I will"
You'll have that. You can't even fish to get away from the d'bags. Up this way a while back two older gentleman out fishing in the middle of the lake when a dumbass in a hot rig run right over the top of them. Sitting still, no weather issues, ran over.
I think this is an increasing problem. I see it more all the time. There are regulations about passing close to other boats at speed that causes unsafe conditions.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work..
Some people just were not raised right. We were floating bout 40 ft right into the bank the other day. Soon as we would get to the bank we would catch a few fish. This older man seen what we were doing. Soon as we motored out again to make the float he rushed into the bed. I couldn't believe this guy. We floated back in to bout 10 ft from him.... He had the nerve to say " getting a lil close ain't we" I said you seen us floating in here. He stayed till he seen someone else catching fish then he headed their way. He was sure to run threw the middle of the bed on his way out. Smh
Unfortunate... Words can't describe these folks
Yes it's a crying shame how others act and the sad thing is that they are teaching their own kids how they do things which is always not the right way.
Most folks on the water are decent. Such a shame when some fool or fools scare or cause damage to honest decent folks. I hope your granddaughter gets past the fear caused by foolish inconsiderate people.
get physical with em in the parking lot. Some folks need a vintage rear end whuppin.
Just this past weekend at Greeson, some guys went right past my friend who was fishing a brush pile close to the bank. They slowed down, but not nearly enough to do any good as they actually created more wake on him when they went by close enough he could have casted a jig in their boat. He was pushed into the rocks on the bank. They stopped just a little way away from him and threw out some orange buoy markers and started fishing.
My friend is a nice guy, but they riled him with that so he cranked up and completely circled them on his way out. One rude turn deserves another. Guess they got the message! GTT
