I have done good with bream with black roostertails when they were on the beds. I haven't fished Ouachita like I used to. When it had grass, I would follow the deep weed line about 18 to 20 feet and wear some bream out. I haven't really been at the right time lately to pull cranks. We usually have a family get together at Thompkins bend every April. Some years I do good other years are a zero. But, when it is good, you don't know what you will catch. Crappie, walleye, white bass, etc. DP
