EZ Pole Holder (Gene Johnson) on the MS board designed the Spyderlok holders. Gene is a super nice guy. He also makes a really nice umbrella holder for a sportbrella, and transport rod racks. Millennium is manufacturing Genes design. My next Millennium purchase will be some of their boat seats. I use their lock on deer stands with that seat design and boy are they comfortable. These seats would have to be more comfortable and cooler in summer months than my current seats.

I'm getting ready to use the umbrella holder and Sportbrella today for rain, makes really nice shade during summer months.

Galvanized pipe fromt he hardware store, and Driftmaster holders. I have since upgraded to a 4 rod holder, and its all I can handle by myself on the stumpy lakes I fish.

I have 2 sets of spider locks I love them, but for a more economical approach look at the hi tec rod holders. For the money they are a great rod holder as well. I started off with a homemade 4 rod holder, but it was not long until I got the itch and went ahead and bought a set of hi tec's.

Don't know if you can see much from this picture. I've built several sets of these and given them away. I'm using drift masters now, but I still have one set of these left in my shed. You can build them with basic hand tools. I've built out of steel and aluminum rod.
