The fish I caught were in 12-18ft of water and a toss up on on live bate verses plastic swim bates. Had a break from farming the last few days but will be back at it Monday, hope winter is 8-10 weeks away as I don't want to put my boat and fishing poles away yet! Luck to all who fish CJ !!!!!!!
When that water temp hits the 40's, then they feed all day long...it is just too comfortable for them right now...they are feeding heavy at the end of the day and night after the days warming. I have never seen so many fish just stacked up under schools of shad...just waiting....we have a very healthy lake!

Let me be the first to say, OK maybe the second....our "child" is going to be a "Monster"....SOON!
Let me also add...the amount of times that Jeff's screens were completely full with fish was staggering. Been out with Don and Pat and have seen the same thing.

Hey Folks, some body has changed the format to post.
Just returned from the "other" place and noticed there was only 1 person viewing. before big move were always at least 16- 24 on at the same time. I think we put a big hurt on them. Just saying, know what I mean Vern??

Actually that is a change that the membership had been requesting for many years. The members grew tired of those that never contributed anything and only came to take. Much like the guys wanting your GPS brushpile numbers. The new topic and post counts in the fishing forums have increased since the change

I finally got out and fished for a couple of hours at MBR. Believe it or not a 3" blue gill chased away Pepe LaPue. Didn't catch anything else but I had a good time, Got hit in the head with a Mac Donald sack (empty) and I couldn't catch it account of the wind. I was using my Hawian special lure, it is a keecheck with a skirt and flip flop shoes...
    Good fishing all.

    Welcome back Jessie
