I found some forum posts suggesting that Olympic used to make blanks for Tict. Does anyone know where Tict get their blanks?

I've tried...without success.....to find out. A lot of folks mention that Olympic makes blanks for a lot different brands. I have read many post that Olympic makes blanks for Ever Green. But I have never found any real evidence of that. I suspect that if Olympic does make blanks for many rod brands I don't think they are going to openly admit to it.....nor would I think company X will advertise their blanks are made by so and so. I know TenRyu...Yamaga Blanks......Graphiteleader.....make their own blanks. I know Major Craft used to make all their blanks at their Vietnam factory called the Works. I did inquire at Digitaka once about where Tict rods are made...their reply at that time was China. What I can tell you about Tict rods is they are some of the most sensitive rods one can fish.

46 grams for a 6.10 rod? Cannot find much info on this bad boy, a little to steep for me.
For rods that light I would also look into Gamakatsu Luxxe Yoihime Hana and Ten series. I don't have one, but want one, partly because they get rave reviews on the web.
Check this out Stan. I sold my X-Ride to my nephew a while back. He absolutely loved it for fishing the Zig Jig for trout...they hit it on the drop and a sensitive rod is key to high catch rate. He has caught a ton of fish with this rod. Check out the first 2 minutes of the video. Somehow the rod had to have been compromised from banging around or something. What does he do after breaking it? He calls me and wants me to order him a new one....LOL. I tell him they are out of production, he says I got to have something...LOL. He buys my Major Craft MSX L action that I rarely used. Now I am trying to find him an 18 Corto 7' 4".....LOL.

Sure did snap easy... I might need to try some zig jigs for the fast moving river for trout... not to hijack but what colors weights does he use most?
Holy cow, that is awful. I have never broken a rod while fighting a fish. I use mine for vertical jigging, a great rod for that. The 7.4 Corto is not quite as stiff as the X Ride, but much more sensitive in the tip. Hope you can find a Corto with Global Rakuten going under.
