Bottom jig given…….. top jig is trying to match.

The tail hair got sparse over time so I imagined what might have been there. The shape and size of the head is almost an exact match. I used Sally Hansen to coat blades, then sprinkle laser glitter, then add 2d eye, then Sally over it. The chenille is not a match however. The old jig uses a blue and red flash mixed. I am using a purple chenille with purple Diamond Braid over top. The hook is the same size and style.

Folks, I took advantage of Micanopy's generosity and can tell you they are very nice jigs!

    And they work, too!

1st cast of the trip scored this little bass. My fish tonight were a bit too shallow to use these a lot tonight but I'm sure they'll be clipped on often as the fall goes along.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

The box is now full. Nice selection of jigs for that old man as he starts back to fishing. I’m happy for him. His back has been a huge issue, and now that he is getting a little relief, he wants to go fishing again. Gotta love that. I’m happy to be of assistance.

Hopefully he will take me fishing and show me his best secrets.
