That's not good but at least a bad day of fishin is better than working

Put in a 7am, water temp 77 degrees. Found a few fish on brush, but weren't stacked like normal. No fish on the banks. Haven't checked the main channel lately. Didn't check bridges either. Anyway, not a fish was caught today loaded up around 12:30. Water temp 80.6.

Tough day, brush should be kicking in high gear moving forward.

Sorry for the bad day but that is fishing
Ive had same problem, no crappie on brush and none at same spots i was catching them at will a year ago. I fished elsewhere with scottymoe and caught 10-12 on bush and structure. As far as wateree, im wondering if fish are stacked up the lake, water clarity has been great which is why i think they should be on structure and no stained water in the southern half of the lake.
I was reading about post spawn fishing, bottom line:
fish in recovery mode, not biting
Mostly suspended near mouths of creeks
Longlining is best way to find them
Even then, bite might be slow

Every year as summer begins people down the lake start struggling to catch some fish. As the waters heat up the bite slows but if youre not in stained waters then you just aint catching. 'Least that's been my experience. Now that's Clark Hill. On Russell during the summer months I have been catching fish on a 20' flat all summer long for the past couple years. The bait has been there too. Time will tell if that holds true this year too. BTW, that is longlining and mostly during early morning as once it gets hot (and the bait moved to the bottom) I'm outa there!
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
I caught a limit of fish on 5/11 and a limit yesterday fishing the lower end of the lake (Beaver Creek and down). Brush in 11-14ft was the most productive. Most of the brush I marked the past few week wasn't productive. I rode over about 20-30 piles before I marked 2 or 3 with fish on them. Friday most fish were 1 1/4lb fish but yesterday morning we caught some really nice fish. We had 2 or 3 that went 2lbs.
