Come on now Wilbur really? I'm gonna have to say, that does not fit the description of this group of guys at all. We have done nothing but worked to make this shindig better year after year and the tournament rules were part of that. These are also the same rules that are used at other fruit jar tournaments. People travel quite a ways to fish and we needed some structure in the tournament and that's where we went with it. We were not getting the number of people to fish it like we do now without these rules and we also have other fruit jar tournaments throughout the year so we needed some consistency with the rules that way there are never any problems or confusion. And we do still have a lot of fun.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.:rolleyes:ccollins, Northforker LIKED above post
Same rules as the past two years, and you continue to ask the same question each year. So, are you figuring that the answer will be different??

Wish I could make it, I will have 6 Deer Hunters in, that's my money making time. I'm sure it will be a great time.
I'll be there for the fun!!
Looking forward to a good time.
This will be my first shindig, what's on the agenda after the fruit jar??

I'll be there if I fill my buck tag during bow season, which is likely.

Hate that buddy. We will meet up and cook together next year if Rees will grant me a Mississippi access pass.
