I awoke this morning with a smile on my face even though I was up late struggling with my emotions. The air was full of moisture
and the earth was moist. Deer tracks in the front yard and the squirrels scampering about with cheeks full of acorns. Fall is here.

Nephew was offered a new job in the gas industry and got hired today and started immediately. Came home with a smile on his face and he was told he had a bright future with the new company. All is well for now.

This time of year during the holidays, Lowe's has the coolest stuff on display to entice folks like me. As you fellas know, I'm there at least twice a week. They put that stuff in plain sight in the isles to tease me as well as others like me as we walk by.

Calling it good, going to relax in my new recliner. Smashed my finger with a cinder block this afternoon - nasty cut to the bone. Ann hauled me off to the walk in clinic. Several stitches in the finger right now. Doesn't hurt that bad anymore, pain meds working nicely.

Cinder blocks don't play fair. Got the habit of wearing gloves years ago and just can't do much without them anymore.

The super moon out here in the country. The last one was in 1948, the next one in 2034:

My citrus crop this Fall is weak. Lots, but all very small. One of the lemon trees:

Another of one of the grapefruit:

    And, one of the satsumas:

The pecan crop pitiful as well. Oh well, at least the citrus crop will make good jellies once again - as well as some cellos.

Man Randy, my pecans were very plentiful this year! Of course the last 3 years, I got nothing off of them. My dad has some satsumas that are HUGE, bigger than grapefruits but they are dry on the inside. Don't know why they are dry but they are huge b/c he fertilized the crap out of them (no pun intended).

I was hoping to catch the #1500 post on this thread. Can you imagine, thats a lot of BS. I wanted to thank all you guys for posting on it. Also, I will take this time to say I will be starting a new BS thread in Tennessee. After the TB event, Mae and I will be moving to Savannah Tn. We have been looking to relocate for a couple years and things have fallen into place. I will still be on this sight bugging you guys, but will be a few miles further away. I will try to make the event in the future, but probably not every year. As Slab said, I will be in a good location to make events in several states. Looking forward to that, as we have made a few the last couple years. Again, our pleasure getting to know some of you well. Let's have a big special TB event this year and really do our best for the auction. Thanks, "D"
