Being as it is now deer season I have not fished much but did go last week a couple of times. Water temps are in the lower 70's.
They were in a line up for identification They were all found guilty with death by skillet.

69 degrees last time I was out. Friday I think. I am still fishing in 35-40 feet of water but that's what I usually do except during the spawn. Catching most of my fish on my own homage 1/4 ounce spoons white and chartruce with a #8 treble hook. I returned 102 that were to small being under 12".
Another pic from 11/12/16. Water temp wa 71 degrees. I think it was 26 keepers and 128 tossers.
I did catch quite a few on Franks 2" minnow and the new one he has with a curly tail. Gdaddy lures that is.
I meant 1" minnow.
