I will be happy to share my techniques. While it has been a closely guarded secret for many decades I feel confident that I can trust them with you. It is basically a highly detailed 5 step process. Step 1, place jig in front of cooperative fish. Step 2, wait on fish to ingest dietary offering. Step 3, when bite is detected lift quickly on fishing rod setting the hook. Step 4, retrieve line into fishing reel until crappie appears on surface. Step 5, this is one of the most critical parts to accomplish correctly, net fish and retrieve into boat. It is my belief that following this 5 step process successful crappie fishing may be achieved.

Wrangler, good advice and procedure. I got all that down, except for steps 1 thru 5.

We all enjoyed it Wrangler- except for the omitted step 1a. First find cooperative crappie at longitude ? And latitude ?. Just fill in the blanks and all is forgiven.
