Welllllll to be honest, I took my mister twister this out this fall and cut 2 cords of oak firewood and a load of cross ties for the rail road. The neighbor had been to Africa and had brought back a whole bull elephant that needed cleaning so when his Rapala burnt out, we hooked my mister twister up on 220v and finished filleting out the back straps on that big buggar. Just as we finished a commercial fisherman went by with a barge load of Gar and 40-80 lb buffalo so I thought we would help him out and ended up cleaning at least 3/4ths of the barge load. I then went over to the lake and caught two 8 inch slabs and that knife cleaned them like it came out of the package new. Now if you have a problem with this story, just let me know, and I'll tell it another way

American Angler. Mine is over 20 years old and still going strong. Had to replace cord couple of years ago. If I had to replace it would be with the new American Angler for 75.00 - 80.00 dollars.

What he said! I had an amreican angler for years when it finally died. I have tried probably all brands since because I either couldnt find another american angler, or couldnt afford one. So I tried a rapala, no power. Tried mister twister (regular), no power. Then went with mister twister salt water edition, More power, but not enuf. Tried hamiltyon beach turkey carver, it was better than all since the american angler, but wrist still got sore, even If I was filleting small fish. So I saw how much money I had spent trying to fill my needs, so I finally broke down and bought another american angler, and it was JUST how I'd remembered it!!!! So much power it just smoothly glides through a fish. Even big cats! Im not a "rep" for anyone. Just telling you what I have personally experienced. Take it with a grain of salt if ya want, but I know what I will be using.

Finally remembered what went out on my American Angler and it was the switch. I probably end up cleaning twice as many fish as most, cause it takes more small ones to make a mess.

This trip was solo, 12 hours when I quit, 50 bream, 10 cats, 10 crappie. I was after the triple crown in one trip, but couldn't get on any crappie bite at all until late in the day and I was too beat to continue. 4am till 4pm. Cleaned them all in 17 minutes with the Mr. Twister...or I may have still had the American Angler then...I don't remember. I was able to eat the entire cooler of fillets at one sitting.
