$1.97 a gallon here in Oklahoma for the 10% ethanol
Wow! I just bought gas in Republic, MO for $1.99 per gallon. I didn't think that I would ever see sub $2 again. Sure makes a fishing trip a lot cheaper.

Read a article in today's paper. It was saying the Arabs are increasing production because we have started increasing production from shale oil to the point we don't need that much of their oil. Also a much lower demand for oil from China and other Asian country's. It also said that if things changed it would be years before we got back to 100.00 a barrel oil. Think them Arabs done painted the selfs into a corner with all the subsidies they give their people and all the other lavish spending they have done over the last 20 years or so. Nothing but good for us for awhile anyway.

Of course the negative affect will be shale oil drilling will slow down. Some jobs will go away for a bit.
Always consequences. Good for some, bad for others. That's why savings are so important.
Good to be on the up end of things for once.
Standing in the Gap
Remember all the doom sayers a few years back predicting when we would run out of oil and the pumps would just be making a sucking sound?????
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
Seen $1.99 in a couple different towns today while out driving around. Clinton, Warsaw and Lincoln all had it under $2
Gas down in jackson,mo at 2.17 and in advance,mo diesel is 2.99!!!
I gave 1.95 for gas north of springfield day before yesterday. And of course I filled up.
