This is kosmo's image...the 2d confirms that the "blue dot" in the 360 image (which represents the bow of the boat)... is directly over the brush...

I think this offset setting is even adjustable for the user's specific boat length...

rvvinc, i had my 360 out for the first time last saturday and tried it out. We went to brush pile that had fish-it was in 35-37 fow-the fish were stacked up to @20 feet from the surface so i put the 360 scan size to 35 feet and everytime it came around on the screen i could see the stack of fish every time and relate it to my boat position and cast in the direction of the fish. Once the school was located i did not need to see such a big picture of bottom just the fish. it allowed me to stay on the fish better and by doing this method there was not anything on the screen but fish. i did notice that the fish moved throughout the course of the day from the original point aprox. 60 feet and it allowed us to stay on them. Knappy...I think everyone who has been following the release of 360 realizes that the images are not going to be as clear and distinct as SI images....(that's just where the 360 technology stands at the present time)...

So any pix you can post will help in showing that there is still valuable information to be had in this 360 technology...

(In other words...don't hold the pix back just because the 360 images don't look as detailed as SI images)...

Kosmo do you think the 360 has helped you catch more fish? A lot or a little?
