But everyone was busy. Low to moderate winds and a valid kitchen pass made it impossible to stay home. Sam and I were on some fish last time out so I went to pick up where we left off. Turned out to be a good move. Started out with lots of smalls and checked the close by places where the biggers would live but nothing big was home. Eased down the bank doing the fan cast thing every time I stopped and actually didn’t run over the top of em and turn em off. Fished that area with small moves for probably 3 hours and got enough activity to keep me happy and some better ones mixed in to make my smile a bit bigger. Kept none today and felt good for that, some of these were studly. Today I caught mature gills that couldn’t have crossed the six inch line but they were stuffed with eggs and swollen big. This tells me this next full moon is gonna be fun. Fished a lot with the Eradicator/Presso combo and so glad I did. Some of these I caught just acted like they already knew me and weren’t impressed, gills and redear both. But enough of my yappin, here’s the pics and thanks for stopping by…Tim
