I dont know about Union Ive never fished it. That will probably change this year. I just got back from Roesiger where I had more boat problems than I cared to deal with.
    1. My plug was leaking, no biggie but not fun.
    2. Fish finder worked like a champ before I left, no power at all when I got out there. I played with and there is a bad connection somewhere.
    3. Trolling motor foot pedal actually started smoking. Wire touching Metal. That trolling motor is a 1981. I was running it until she crapped out, so gonna swap that out with a newer power drive that a guy just gave me.

Thats a lot of bad stuff to have happen, seeming how I had no issues a month ago with it. Maybe its time to sell the old girl and get back to one boat.

Oh ya, got skunked on the Crappies tonight. I am pretty sure I know where they are going to be spawning, I found them in deeper water a month or so ago but without a fishfinder I was fishing blind with depth, structure and water temp.
Just get me on the water and I will be okay.
    Good fishing everyone.

    Hey Joe
how has Banks been. Are you heading over for Gordons tourney in May? I am supposed to pre fish with the Orange Camo Man. but with the price of fuel i am starting to waffle. I like this local Crappie thing i would be up for some Union or Washington fishing, just bought a sweet 12' smoker alaskan. Thanks Jim the Sacque King

The Sunnyside ramp on Union is the only one I've ever used. I think there's another one closer to Fremont as well.

No fish for us on Kapowsin this weekend. Only activity we seen were trout jumping every now and then. Great day to be on the water though and I entered a few good waypoints into the gps. This trip turned out to be a good excuse to run my own boat for the first time this year and drink beer :D.

    Hi Crappie fishermen
Jim Reed from Edgewood Wa, this is an awesome sight i love to fish for crappies and its nice to see others from Wa that have the same passion.I recently got into Walleye fishing but the price of fuel has made me rethink where i will fish, and there are many little lakes by my place that hold crappie. So i bought smaller boat and a smaller truck to haul it with. Bring on some warm weather....Jim

Im headed over this weekend and its gonna be pricey. Nobody wants to go or nobody can afford to. Tom may meet me over there. Regardless I will have fun with the connollys over there. With the tourney in Potholes or Moses this weekend, it makes it perfect for me to be on Banks. I know a good spot for Crappies over there I will defiintely try but I think its a bit chilly still for them to be in there and Im not gonna spend time lookin for them in that big of a lake. Mothers day the weekend before the tourney so I wont be there pre-fishing. I will be at Gordons tourney though for sure.

Welcome aboard Jim. I hear you on the gas prices. I'll be fishing close to home all season too.

    Jim,
I will be on the road at 1130 Friday from Whidbey Island, have to stop in Arlington and then it is off to Banks. Game plan is to fish Crappies Friday evening until dark or even after. Walleyes all day Saturday and Sunday unless they aren't cooperating. If not, got no problems fishing for smallies, crappies or those jumbo perch.

I think Skillet is going to try Lake Washington this weekend for Crappies. He has never fished for them in this state before.

    Hey Skillet;
How did you do on Lake Washington this weekend for crappie? I went to Lake Roesiger for them on Monday and it was a bust, i just couldn't find them as i fished docks and what little structure i could find.

    John.
