    hahaha:D

well i talked to some of the water temp guys, and the data usually lags a month or two behind so that site is only good for looking at trends, not immediate temps.

if they have past records its pretty safe to pull up a average of the last few years. hopefully this el nino year will make it warm up faster

yea - it would just be nice to know on a warm spell on any given day whats going on out there.

Apparently they used to have real-time buoys out there, 3 of them in fact, but one was hit by a boat, one vandalized by jet skiiers, and one was actually shot up to death! The metrokc.gov water guys are very quick to reply with information if you ever need to shoot them an email.
