    why would i want to wait 3 hours at 4am at a boat launch to maybe catch a couple sockeye? anyway, pinks taste just fine.

    Launching you just have to know when to go, my longest wait was 40 mins. Now if I could just plan my escapes a little better. And there is no doubts about the catchin part. Pinks are okay, out of a can, breaded and deep fried as salmon patties don't forget the ketchup.

    Most of our rivers, with the exception of one, have only odd year runs of pinks. This year, 2006, the only run will be for the Snohomish river.

    oh, i was meaning the pink run out in the sound. i live about 10 minutes from picnic point that is a great place to get some pinks.

    I feed the pinks to my dog.
    To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D
