There are a few up there. Never seen them spawn there but during late spring and summer they can be around the pilings at dusk. There are few good spawning flats up there but they require a boat to reach them.
Anybody ever catch any crappie up by Tracy Owen Station Park during the spawn? From what I could see from the road there were some pilings located in the lake. The water seemed to be a little murky up on that end also.

you can get a good view of it from maps.google.com look at the satelite image of it and you can zoom in pretty far too. looks like there is a main dock that is pretty long and then a bunch of little docks maybe for tyin up boats and the end of it. how deep is the water off of the very end of the dock?
at the end of the dock the depth is only about 3'-4' during the summer. all i have caught out of there is little pumpkinseeds and perch. slabking, have you actually caught a crappie around there. i fish that dock all the time and have never seen a sign of a crappie. i have caught a few bass though......

i have a feeling that the key word in what he said was "evening" i just watched this show about crappie fishing that said after the spawn they relate to structure out from where they spawned but they will still go in shallow to the weed beds to feed in the evening or at night
the only time i ever fish that dock is in the evening.
