    Default 4-03-09 2 citations today and 30 fatties total


    got to the james at 10:00 am when the down pour started had just parked the truck and got into the boat and put up the bimini and down it come and it was rude to say the leaste bout a 10 minute burst then the wind got up and the sun came out .I dropped the top and had to run the bilge for a few minutes . went straight to em today in the rude winds and all. finally went calmed a bit and I was able to flip the shallows and picked up a pile of fish in one spot all but three were males and two citations one 2#even and one 2#1 oz. caught a variety of all sizes went through 96 minnows in about 2 hrs.:D

    Nice job and beutiful fish. I love the way those males look when they get real dark like that. Sounds like they are really starting to spawn with all those males being shallow.

    thanks roy, yeah I keep a pole out back hoping maw was suspended while all them boys were at work. theres gotta be a 3+ femm in there by the size of her army........

    That's a lot of poundage. Fighting the wind/rain today even made the catch more impressive. Congrats on the citations.

    WOW! Congrats on the citations! That is a good lookin mess of fish you got there. You seem to really be finding the big ones now, three citations in two days... you'll have that 3 pounder before long! :D:D

    thanks blake iv'e spent alot of time and money (missed work) so it aint spent if i didn't have it right lol ...yeah they seem to be in but I got to get back to reality.. may need to find a crappie anonymous meeting group!!!!
