    Default Why we like Hickory Shad fishing


    Take a peak. That is not an ultra light rod. It is medium action. Those things think they are tarpon. We stunk up the place today. 8 shad, 1 white perch, 1 herring. The bank fisherman were flat catching the pee out of the shad this afternoon. Note to self: try not to burn a half day of vaction to watch other people catch fish.
