well outfoxed myself looking for clearer water yesterday....i usually start my shallow hunting up near the rivers and then chase em down the lake but a buddy had been catfishing on tuesday and told me it was really muddy up there so i went down lake to Grassy.....was muddy there too...fished from 12-7, got 1 black crappie @ 13", 1 white crappie @ 12", a 3 lb bass and an assorted bunch of sunfish....the black come off a blowdown in 3 fow and the white off a brushpile in 25 fow.....kinda hard to figure a pattern from that....lol.....wind howled all day...Keith told me today they wore em out upriver...shoulda stuck with my original game plan.....hope to try again this weekend sometime..

Good report Hunter. Done the same thing too often. That is out think myself and not catch many. At least you got out on the water. I'll be glad when this contest thing is over and I don't have to keep seeing post from D about it!
