Default Good morning on the water

I took a friend fishing today and we had very good luck. Only fished until 11AM and it got too hot so we called it a day. Caught a total of 69 fish with the biggest ones at 14" 14.25". All fish caught on jigs, no minnows or nibblets in 12' to 15' FOW. Water temps were 83 to 85.

Great work. Sounds exactly like we are catching them on our local lake the past three weeks. Water temps low 80's, catching them over brushpiles in 10-12 feet of water on jigs. We don't have fish that size so we mow through a 100 or so to get 40-50 keepers. It's a fast and fun bite, usually done by 10 am.
